Friday was my Wife’s birthday, and so her parents came down for the weekend. Her dad had to come separately because of prior engagements, which means that he drove his E28 M5.
He has not one, but TWO 88 E28 M5’s. These cars are awesome. One of them is in great shape, but not perfect. The other, which is the one pictures, is in amazing condition! It is one of the nicest/cleanest you will ever see, and I do mean that literally. Both are pretty close to stock, except (if I remember correctly), the one pictured has a Dinan chip. I just can’t say enough how nice his M5’s are! They are beautiful!
The pics were taken on a whim. I didn’t have time to take nice pics this weekend, although I hope to next time I am in the same city as this rolling piece of awesome. The static shots were taken outside of a restaurant, hence all the cars cluttering my background. I took the rolling shots on 290. I took them from the Jeep I was driving, and since my attention was focused on the road, I couldn’t aim, change settings, ect. I did adjust the camera setting a tad, but I “shot from the hip” (so to speak), which is why a little of the door is in the shots, and it was not in a position to be cropped out. Cloned maybe, but not efficiently or cleanly, so I didn’t try.
On to the pics:
And just playing around w/ PP on this one… I’m not a huge fan of selective color, but I like it here…
